Melting
The 999 silver bar is melted in a furnace, turning the metal into a liquid state. This process makes it easy to mix and work with.
alloy
To create 925 silver, a specific amount of another metal, usually copper, is added to the molten silver. The typical ratio is 7.5% copper.
Recasting
Once the desired alloy composition is reached, the mixture is poured into molds to create new 925 silver bars. This alloy is more durable, making it perfect for jewelry. After pouring, the silver bars need to cool down to room temperature.
Stetching
Once the bars have fully cooled, they are stretched to the required lengths. This process uses specialized tools to ensure precise thickness, providing consistent material for the next steps.
Shaping
The stretched bars are then cut and shaped into wire or bezels. To make wire, the bars are drawn through a series of dies to achieve the desired thickness. For bezels, the metal is carefully shaped to create a custom setting that securely holds the stone
